THE BRAND NEW MR. AND MRS. JARVIE!!!

There are moments in life that feel like they’ve been quietly gathering light for years… and then suddenly, they burst into something radiant. Today was one of those moments.

Just one hour ago, Scott Jarvie and his beautiful bride, Erin, stepped into a brand new chapter as husband and wife—and what a long-awaited, deeply meaningful chapter it is. This isn’t just a wedding day… it’s the beginning of a love story that took its time, grew with intention, and arrived right on schedule.

Scott, a gifted and passionate photographer behind JarvieDigital.com, and owner of Peakd.com is someone I’ve known for about 15 years—back when we were both navigating the single scene, cameras in hand, dreams in our pockets, and a lot of unknowns ahead. He’s not only incredibly talented, but also widely known for his breathtaking work photographing American temples, including his LDS temple calendars that have inspired so many. To see him here now, at 46, stepping into his first marriage… it feels sacred. Like watching a story come full circle.

And Erin—now Mrs. Jarvie—what a joy she is. The kind of presence that feels like home. You can see it in the way Scott looks at her: steady, certain, completely at peace. These two didn’t just find each other… they recognized each other.

They met on a cruise on January 21st… and in just three short months, here they are, sealed for eternity. Some stories take years to unfold. Others arrive with clarity that feels almost immediate—like a lens snapping into perfect focus.

When you know, you know.

There’s something especially powerful about a love that doesn’t hesitate. A love that feels clear, anchored, and right from the very beginning. They’ve both lived full lives leading up to this moment, and now they get to build something entirely new together—with wisdom, gratitude, and hearts that truly understand what they’ve found.

Just an ago, they were sealed in the Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple—the very place we photographed their bridals on Thursday evening, capturing the anticipation just days before. And now their union is eternally bonded. The same walls, the same light—now holding an entirely new meaning.

And on a personal note—it is such an honor and privilege as a photographer to step behind the camera for a fellow photographer. There’s a quiet weight to that trust, and also a deep joy. To be able to gift Scott something he so often gives others… to create stunning, lasting images of his own wedding story that he didn’t have to shoot himself… that’s something I don’t take lightly. It feels like passing the torch for just a moment, so he could fully live in it instead of documenting it, even though he did joyously turn his own camera toward his now beautiful bride, as he says she is his newest and most beautiful and favorite model and subject.

As photographers, we spend so much of our lives capturing other people’s milestones… and Thursday, it was an honor to pause and celebrate one of our own.

Scott and Erin Jarvie, congratulations on your first day as husband and wife.

Your story is already something special—and this is just the beginning. They will be living in NH until July and then move to Tucson, AZ for the next 5 yrs,

as she finishes her career in the Air Force. Thank you for your service. This woman is an incredible gem, made just for our friend Scott Jarvie!

We are ALL so very excited and thrilled you both have found in each other your forever love story! Wishing you both an eternity of love and happiness together!

Below are all my favorites from our 2 hr session, shoot out, along with his lovely sister Sara Jarvie, gifting her talents as a skilled Photographer as well.

I'm excited to see her images as well. Scott deserves to be showered with all the photography love we have to give.

He's been awaiting a lifetime and deserves everything that is good in this life. I hope you love and cherish the gift from my lens to you.

Cheers our beloved friend!
