I met her last year, on the grounds of The Utah State Capital Building, where hundreds of teenagers roamed the capital grounds one Spring evening at golden hour, to take advantage of the gorgeous cherry blossoms, while in bloom, to take dance portraits. I was awaiting my clients to arrive, and had some time to kill and wanted to test lighting. So I approached this cute group, asking if I could photograph them, at no charge. They were all so grateful and we had such a blast in such a short amount of time. Fast forward in time, and she booked me to photograph her Senior Portraits. It was my honor and privilege. We had so much fun shooting around downtown Salt Lake City, where truly it's a playground of endless possibilities, when it comes to photography and Senior Portraits. She was also a cosmetology student and graduate of Avalon Institute, and is now taking clients, hence the pictures with her professional scissors. Be sure to follow her @cosmo_by_brekley.
